The BBC (British Broadcasting Channel) has recreated a few of Jane Austen's classics! PBS recently finished airing their new Emma (which I personally thought was awesome). They'll be showing Northanger Abby on February 14th at 9pm & Persuasion on February 21st at 9pm. Look at their Masterpiece Classics schedule here.
If you miss any showings they often have them available to watch online, too.
Check out Library Thing! Find a book you've already liked, and on that book's profile page you'll get recommendations for other books you might want to read.
You can also join a discussion or group. And each book has reviews, both professional and from other readers. Check it out! You don't need to make a log-in or anything.
When you find the next book you want to read, see if we have it through our online catalog.
